The southern suburb, Norwalk is a growing community with small-town feel.

Population: 12,449 (2020 Census), up 38.5% from the 2010 Census (8,989)

The city currently offers a FIVE year tax abatement for new construction homes.

Fun fact – Norwalk High School is home to many famous alum including actors Jason Momoa and Brandon Routh. Momoa famously starred in Aquaman while Routh famously starred as Superman in Superman Returns. They were even on the same soccer team at one point, which means the Norwalk HS soccer team had Aquaman and Superman on it’s roster! Other notable alumni include Major League Baseball pitchers Matt Dermody and Joel Hanrahan as well as UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens.
